Mrs. Anderson's Preschool Graduation

10 Parents as Teachers students graduated from Miss Julie Anderson's preschool.  Families gathered to watch the Class of 2017 get their diplomas, put on an adorable performance, and share their future career paths!  We have firemen, doctors, a dentist and even a tiger in our group!  Michael Goolsby, Carthage School Board member, and Kandy Frazier, Assistant R-9 Superintendent, handed out diplomas.  After refreshments, each child received a book from the Carthage Literacy Council and a goody bag.  Mrs. Anderson volunteered two years of her time to put on this free preschool for children who have not qualified for any other preschool services.

Time to get in!

Call your parent educator at 359-7012 soon to schedule your visit.

2017-18 preschool spots are still available.  To be considered for the program, students must be referred through Parents As Teachers.
